FETAC Level 6 (Module Code N32905)

Course aim:

The aim of the module is to give the learner essential knowledge and  skills in developing standards, measuring performance, motivating and empowering staff and oneself.

This module can be taken in isolation or as an elective module on the advanced certificate in management.

What’s included?

The learners that successfully complete this module will:

  • Practice effective supervisory management skills
  • Design, implement and change standards
  • Appreciate the value of effective and open communication within organisations
  • Develop strategies for staff support and empowerment
  • Understand the importance of effective relationships within a multi- disciplinary team
  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Understand the importance if stakeholders’ rights and expectations in the delivery of a quality service

The Specific Learning Outcomes are divided into 4 units.

Unit 1 –Managing Performance
Unit 2 – Motivating, Developing and Empowering
Unit 3 – Building Effective Relationships
Unit 4- Legislation, Regulation and Policies
